In the presentation, take the following things into account:\n<ul>\n<li>Send a link to your presentation slides and <a href=\"https:\/\/coursepages2.tuni.fi\/tiea4\/paasivu\/guidelines\/#project-poster\">project poster<\/a> (and videos etc.) latest by 11.5.2021 to responsible teacher (timo.poranen @ tuni.fi). Slides (and links to videos etc.) will added to the course&#8217;s Moodle forum.<\/li>\n<li>Presentations are given in Zoom using screen share functionality. Test Zoom beforehand (https:\/\/tuni.zoom.us\/ and https:\/\/www.tuni.fi\/it-services\/handbook?page=4817 ).<\/li>\n<li>Link to Zoom can be found from the Moodle.<\/li>\n<li>Whole team should participate in the event.<\/li>\n<li>The optimal length of your presentation is 12 minutes, after that 2 minutes are reserved for questions and 1 minute for preparations needed by the next group. Practice your presentation beforehand.<\/li>\n<li>Keep the presentation in English if your group&#8217;s working language is English. Finnish language projects can give their presentation in Finnish, but slides can be in English.<\/li>\n<li>To avoid demo effects, you can record a video and show it during the presentation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>What you should cover in the presentation\n<ul>\n<li>Introduce your project group and client.<\/li>\n<li>Show statistics (working hours, activities, commits, implemented requirements,&#8230;), mention your development model and explain how you applied your development model.<\/li>\n<li>Give a demo. This is an important part of the presentation. You can also play a video.<\/li>\n<li>Mention your project&#8217;s good and bad experiences. Did you encounter any risks.<\/li>\n<li>Good-to-know things to mention to other groups.<\/li>\n<li>Other things you like to mention.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Short project presentations (2021S)<\/h5>\n<p>Short project presentations are on Friday 5.2.2021, 10.15-12, online.<\/p>\n<p>Send your slides (or link to slides) to the lecturer before the presentation day. Then lecturer will add your slides to the Moodle.<\/li>\n<li>Practice using Zoom beforehand. Check <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tuni.fi\/it-services\/handbook?page=4817\">university&#8217;s Zoom guidelines<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each team has about 7 minutes for their presentation:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Introduce your project shortly.<\/li>\n<li>Describe what kind of group you have.<\/li>\n<li>Meetings, communication with the client, communication with the group.<\/li>\n<li>Main project risks, how to avoid them.<\/li>\n<li>Development model (iterations, reviews, software design, testing, UI-desing, usability,&#8230;).<\/li>\n<li>Initial schedule (iterations and their content).<\/li>\n<li>Other management related issues (for example, what kind of help \/ support \/ learning your team needs).<\/li>\n<li>Finnish language project can give their presentation in Finnish, but slides should be in English.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>After the presentation, couple of minutes are used for questions and discussion.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Final project presentations (2021S) Final project presentations are on Wednesday 12.5.2021, 10-12, online, Zoom (check link from the Moodle).
